Used-Good. Good hardback in olive green cloth. Undated, no edition stated, but includes preface to the 17th edition. Owner's decorative label on front pastedown dated 1880. With illustrations by Sir John Gilbert and steel plates by W. H. Bartlett. Olive green cloth has spotty discolouration near edges of boards, but front board is mostly in good condition with bright gilt and black lettering & decoration. Spine browned with slightly faded gilt and black decoration. Tissue guard and free endpaper versos quite browned and faded, but title page and frontispiece bright. Full gilt edges. Scattered foxing internally.
