Stephanie Levine along with Laeh, and the rest of her interviewees brought out of me many mixed emotions. I now have a much more appreciation to being Lubavitch, and I really feel guilty for moving away from my roots (how I was raised). This book makes me want to return to my roots even more. I was able to relate in so many ways to a lot of the girls who were interviewed. Not only do I feel guilt, but I also feel regret, shame, and fear. Fear because of my now tainted chance of having a Shiduch date and possibly tainting my family's chances. However, even with all of these negative emotions, there is the positive aspect. All in all, I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone. Especially my family, so that they can possibly have more of an understanding as to why my past actions were so. I learned some things that I didn't know before, like how a reputation can affect a chance at Shiduch date, and i definitely now have much more of an appreciation for Lubavitch. Certain parts are comical and others are surprisingly sad. It ws an enjoyable book to red, and it,s worth the time
