Although an autobiography, the book was written with the asistance of an established writer, therefore it makes for entertaining reading and offers interesting insights into the world of bullfighting-----The subject of the book is considered to have been the world's greatest matador, by most experts----- I used to have a copy of the book, which Arruza autographed for me, but, unfortunately, it can no longer be found, so I recently bought four copies of it, which should be a fair indicator of my regard for the book----

my life as a matador; the autobiography of carlos
i would recommend this book to anyone interested in bullfighting. the book is transcribed by writer but he uses carlos arrua's own word. he describes his early life as a matador all the ups and down and his personal life. a very straight forward well told story.
