This is a near fine copy except for a Whitney Library of Design stamp on the title page. The unclipped pictroial dust jacket is bright and colorful. Evidence of a 2.5" sticker removed from the spine. Some minor toning and shelf wear. Translated by James Palmes; introduction by Maurice Jardot. Covers the artist's life and career from 1900 to 1960. Includes hundreds of sketches, paintings and designs. Makes a lovely gift for the illustrator, collector or design student.
