Bought two copies of Brad Kasal's true story.
One for my husband to read and share, the other for my son, who trained with Kasal at Camp Pendleton, while in the USMC, to keep.
Completely captivated by this accounting of the true story of that fight...Hard to put down.
According to some Marines we know, this was a true accounting of the things that happened over there. So many un-named heroes... some came back, some did not.
My son was honored to train in Pendleton, and have first hand knowledge of the great soldier Brad Kasal was, and still is.
Latest news , he is among several other great officers being considered for promotion to the rank of Major General of The Marine Corps.
