This is a fictional story about four boys who grew up in the hood in Hyde Park, Illinois. It took me out of my everyday life and into a life I could easily be right there in the middle of it all. I laughed and cried and sat on the edge of my seat not knowing what was going to happen next. When you find a good one, or a good three, you have treasures on earth that are priceless. Here is the poetic prologue that is inside the cover: We four grew we overcame We were lifted from our strife Our stress our continuous pain We four were friends we became brothers We found loyalty and strength Within the bond of each other We four stuck together we four took flight Spreading our wings through the sky With the sun as our guide We four eyes opened we became anew God bound us with wisdom To reach and share our knowledge to you We four stepped out the box We rose out of the shadow We four became as one God helped us four through our battles
