Jane Coop is a superb accompanist who partakes as deeply in the spirit of the music and the performance as Lederer. And Lederer and Coop's performance of Bowen's ardently expressive Phantasy for viola and piano is simply a convincing and compelling performance of wonderfully Romantic music.
