I invite your attention to this report and to forthcoming publications that have emanated from scientific researches conducted by the Park Service, in conjunction with the National Geographic Society, in a section of the park known as Wetherill Mesa. These studies reveal man in congenial relationship with his (austere) environment. It is mandatory that we adopt a comparable ecological approach to life if we are to continue to inhabit this planet.
