As with other Rick Walton books, this one is cleverly written and beautifully illustrated. The wonderful details in the pictures are as entertaining as the story itself! I purchased it for my 4-yr.old granddaughter and we have read it repeatedly to enjoy the antics of this mischievous pumpkin and Mrs. McMurphy's ultimate tasty revenge. Be sure to look for the black cat who sneaks onto most every page!
