J. P. Marquand is a writer that will keep your interest if you are interested in mystery/spy stories circa the 30's and 40's (OK, the last one was written in the late 50's). He wrote six Mr Moto books and they all follow essentially the same story line: boy meets girl-they meet the mysterious Mr Moto. Lots of mistrust but in the end, everyone rides into the sunset happy (except for the last installment). I won't reveal any more about that. One more thing-if you are like me when reading these books, you will say at the end of each chapter, "Just one more chapter before I retire!"
