This is by far the best re-write I have ever read. I have read many, at least five (5) other authors and they have been good but Ms. Berdoll out-ranks them all. She keeps the story in the regency period but puts the reader into the minds of the characters in a fashion as to make you believe you are living in that time. The manner of speaking becomes second nature to the reader to the point that you do not want to interrupt yourself for any reason. I have now read Darcy & Elizabeth by Ms Berdoll and I think she has out-shined herself!
