I read it once a year; its message is refreshing, especially in these fast-paced, modern times. Its about a man who turns his back on our materialistic world and finds real happiness living according spiritual principles. He is to be admired because he lives his beliefs and serves as an example of how to find inner happiness. I wish that I could be more like him.

Mr Blue ROCKS!
I love this story, more so because it is OLD and still PERTINENT! I especially love the story of the man who goes out of the "perfect city" and thereby reestablishes order! Read it first in High School many moons ago, still pick it up periodically and pass it on. Needed a new copy as mine walked, happy to have it again.

Blue: A Refreshing Personality
A book about an eccentric young man who takes an almost childish delight in life. Both the simplicities and depths of living are plumbed and enjoyed by the main character. The story is told by a man who has happened to befriend Mr. Blue. Blue is almost like a modern Saint Francis in spirit. I dog eared many pages of my own copy of the book for I ran across many insights and observations that I found refreshing and worth pondering.
