The quintet and Ein Musikalischer Spass are also included, and the remaining works are relatively obscure -- an aria with horn obbligato; "Lungi da te," from Mitridate; and eight excerpts from the 12 Duos for Two Horns. The repertoire alone makes this a disc that should be of strong interest to any fans of Mozart's elegant music for horn, or anyone who can't get enough of his out-of-the-way works.
