Printed communication loosely inserted from the Chairman of the National Coal Board, the Rt. Hon. Lord Robens of Woldingham, P.C. offering local authorities on a non-profit basis the Board's new techniques which enable semi-mature trees to be transplanted more cheaply. Other information includes an advertisement for 'Tall Trees' and a list of firms and organisations taking part in a demonstration and others that exhibited loosely inserted. The Civic Trust was founded in 1957. It has initiated schemes to transform urban areas and has campaigned for the planting of more trees, including the planting of semi-mature trees and has removed eyesores from towns and countryside.
