Text is in English. Presents 12 of the ancient Roman mosaics found on the walls of the Villa of Mosaics or Villa Herculian in Piazza Armerina, on the island of Sicily. Begins with a narrative introduction and explanation, then offers the 12 mosaics with annotations afterward. A simple affair; but the fact that the mosaic illustrations are in color and are framed in cream cardstock made this a sophisticated presentation. The covers are "cushy, " too! Must be seen and touched to be believed.
