Masaicos is a decent book for college but I would not recommend trying to actually learn Spanish from it. I thought the interpretations and wording was difficult to understand and MySpanishLab was not slow enough to fully grasp what the speakers were saying.
Use it to make it through your course but don't expect to become fluent.
