The Ridgewood High locker room has seen its share of steroid abuse, and as the season progresses so do the rumors regarding Von's newfound size and speed. Von is descended from the ancient Vorgo gypsies of Romania and has unearthed some family secrets that really should have stayed in the old country. When Von discovers his late father's journals, his transformation from benchwarmer to perhaps the best high school football player in the country baffles new coach, Mike Minot.
