Likely first edition-copyright date 1903 with no other printings listed. Brown cloth boards with gilt illustration on cover and spine. Ex-lib, but only indicator is a bookplate on front endpaper. Cover well-preserved with age-light wear to edges, but gilt remains bright. Spine cracked, all pages intact. Crisp page edges, minor yellowing. Text clean and unmarked. A good copy overall.
