Not only are the recipes A-1, the stories behind each one giving the background as to why/where and how the recipe was formulated I found very interesting. It gives one more confidence when faced with what seems like an insurmountable task after reading how Robert overcame each obstacle. It wasn't always easy and not always perfect. This is a very realistic type of cookbook with a story to follow.

Confused
I thought I was getting a down to earth - low cost - on a budget, cookbook. Most of it was about his history and so on.
Love to cook, love to eat, just on a tight budget - seniors have a problem with that you know, and for the next 3yrs, it doesn't look like its going to get any better - (read between the lines).
