I bought this in the mid-90s when it was published. I like to give or loan this to my friends/acquaintances as the best springboard to the topic of migraine. I have always kept 1 for myself & bought 1 as a "loaner" copy for my college students. If my loaner didn't come back, I replaced it with a 2nd hand copy. The book is thoughtfully written, with well organized easy to understand chapters. I have probably bought at least 6 or 7 copies for my friends and coworkers when I find out that they too suffer from migraines. Even though the list of meds is a bit dated, many of the "rescue meds" listed are still in use today. It discusses food and environmental triggers like barometric pressure and chemical fumes. I highly recommend this volume.
