Francis X. Bushman, Jr., Goodwill's biggest star and Kathryn McGuire were the romantic leads, with Western star Jack Perrin as a lawyer, African-American comedian Martin Turner as a stereotypically frightened factotum, and spinsterish Nora Cecil as a Mrs. Danvers-type housekeeper.
