The materials selected were: - light metal PM-aluminium and titanium alloys - ferritic chromium and austenitic alloy 800 steels - nickel-base superalloys with emphasis on monocrystalline materials - nickel- and iron-base oxide dispersion-strengthened (ODS)superalloys.
