He has a long experience of sound recording, first as a BBC studio manager and later as a freelance engineer/producer. he has taught microphones technology and technique both within the BBC and on the unique 4-year Bachelor of Music (Tonmeister) degree course at the University of Survey, which he helped to set up in 1971, and is much in demand as an Audio Consultant.
