I purchased this book for an intensive microbiology summer class. The required text was the current 2008 edition which would have cost me $180 approx. This text was not only an unbelievable deal, it was also perfect for the class. It had all the material I needed for the class. It arrived in pristine condition. The material is explained very clearly and simply written. This is a great book for anyone taking microbiology.
