Informative yet amusing
Interesting and very readable account of the authors experiences working as a biologist for the British government. The focus of his study was the personal lives of the mice living in his manufactured "mouse town" which he had built in an abandoned aircraft hangar. The goal of the study was to determine the best means of preventing rodent infestations of food stuffs stored in military bunkers. Not a book for everyone but I found it helpful in setting up a feeder mouse colony of my own.
useful book if you are interested in learning more about the natural history of house mice.
