But occurrences of this character at present form only a small percentage of the many deposits scattered all over the mica fields of Canada. In other words the available mica supply is limited. It is essential, therefore that the mica miner should be well acquainted with all the little difficulties attending the opening up of new mica deposits and that he should be well equipped with both theoretical and practical knowledge of mica itself. Success ful mica-mining implies a large and varied experience in the field and many a good mica deposit has been abandoned on account of the lack of experience on the part of those who directed the Operations.
