Don't Judge this Book by its Cover
It's a under-rated book, written by a Chicago psychiatrist over seventy years ago to help his formerly hospitalized mental patients return to a functioning, sometimes blissful, 'outside' life.
It works best in conjunction with weekly participation in Recovery, Int. meetings, (now termed Abraham Low Self Help Systems.) See the website at recovery-inc.org and learn about online, phone meetings and regular meetings in your own city.
Hospitalized twice for severe depression, I revere this method in what it's done for me for nearly forty years. It's helped thousands of people of every psychiatric label to resume a 'normal' life. It's a low-to-no-cost source of support and encouragement from others who understand the embarrassment and stigma of mental and emotional illness.

Mental Health's Best Kept Secret
I have read and re-read Mental Health through Will Training for over thirty years. I have a history of serious depression, with two hospitalizations. Participation in Recovery, Inc., for which this book is the flagship read, has helped me learn to function as a teacher in public schools and as a many-times-rejected screenplay author. This book is rather wordy to read by oneself, but with the support of a Recovery, Inc. group, it becomes an under-rated godsend.

Excellent book
I have read many self help books and this is one of the very best. Dr. Low is a genius with great insight into human nature.
