And we think, that, in general, now types are prepared and all things are ready forthe work, the expense of pun dit' s wages for translating the New Testament, and bringing itthroug'h the press, and that ofprinting a thousand copies, including types, paper, 810. Will be little more than four thousand rupees, or if 500, which sum we think will both secure a version in almost any one of these langua ges, and an edition of a thousand copies; a number sufficient to convey the knowledge ofthe gospel into any one of these provinces, as well as to secure the translation against the possibility of being lost.
