I came across this book by accident in the local public libray and it was love at first sight. The format is huge and I admit this is the only coffee table book Iike. the tome is packed with heaps of dreamy pictures, great persoanal experience text and especially great drawings so there is something for everyone. I think the reason I loved it was it was a compilation basically of travel notes and diaries by some very tallented and insightful people...I thank them for their foresight in publishing, well done. One last comment and that is I hope that somehow these beautiful villages escape the scouge of developers, though I suppose the inhabitants think otherwise.
