In this sense, the matriarchal landscape mythology is a partial area of securing evidence for early historic matriarchal cultures. German description: In diesem Buch stellt Heide Gottner-Abendroth landschaftsmythologische Forschungen am Beispiel deutscher Landschaften vor. Dabei werden materielle Relikte der jungsteinzeitlichen/bronzezeitlichen Kulturschicht analysiert und zu der sie umgebenden Landschaft in Beziehung gesetzt. Erforderlich ist dafur die umfassende Methode einer "geistigen Archaologie", die die Autorin unter jahrelangen intensiven Studien im In- und Ausland entwickelt hat.
