They were found guilty of witchcraft in the first degree. Angus and Herriot were sentenced to be hung after watching their daughter be burned at the stake. Angus and Herriot managed to escape unscathed, but their daughter wasn't so lucky. After going on the lam for a few hundred years, hiding in plain sight and trying to blend in with the mortals, Angus and Herriot found solace in the town of Sailors Hill, Pennsylvania where they decided to spend the rest of their days. Many years later, they changed the name of the town to McAdoo. In the early nineteen hundreds, they were discovered and forced underground by an angry mob. In the early 2000's, during a high school project, Austin Walsh and his friend Ashley Stewart uncovered some corruption going on in McAdoo and the surrounding area. Gary Anderson and Chelsea Jones uncovered the strange occurrences that were going on in McAdoo as they worked on a school project assigned to them. The four of them stumbled into something that they should have left alone, but being curious teenagers, they dug deeper. After getting the crazy idea in his head to dress up and put an end to the corruption himself, Austin became a teenage vigilante known as Maroon Marauder. Now he must stop the corruption before its too late. Along the way, Austin and his friends discover the whereabouts of Angus and Herriot and must save the town from their wrath before they destroy the town and everyone living in it.
