A suicidal man sent to reside in a remote sanitarium that specializes in human trafficking meets a mysterious platinum blonde inmate who claims to be Marilyn Monroe in director John Carr's offbeat psychological horror entry. Upon causing the accidental death of his beloved bride, devastated widower Harry Billings (John Phillip Law) takes a long leap off of a tall railroad trestle with every intention of ending his own life. Unfortunately for Harry, his plan hit a snag somewhere along the line and, after failing to snuff it as planned, he was later fished out of the cool waters and sent to recover at the private sanitarium run by the nefarious Dr. Brewer (Arthur Braham) and his partner Dr. Fargo (Sharon Ratcliff). This is no ordinary sanitarium though, for instead of helping their patients, the devious doctors instead use the hospital as a front to supply Middle Eastern sheiks with comely young women who will eventually be used as sexual slaves in the harems of the high-rolling oil-barons. His mind controlled through the use of powerful suggestion and hypnotic drugs, Harry is unwittingly transformed into a recruitment tool used to lure unsuspecting women back to the hospital so that the doctors can turn a tidy profit. When Harry goes wandering off one day into a remote ward and discovers a beautiful woman who claims to be Marilyn Monroe, the pair attempt a daring escape that could well cost them their lives.
