This book was very interesting which was about a young man who entered the war wanting to fly planes. He knew that he had to fight other young men his own age, but he also knew he was fighting for his father land as well. However, if it had not been for the war he knew that some of his fallen commrades they would have become friends. In this book. He discusses about the way he flies, and how his brother flies and how they get away, but very quickly and slimly by the skin of the hair. He knows that God is looking out for him that is why he usually makes it home. He discusses the builds of the air planes and how some are put together. Sometimes they save their lives an sometimes they don't save their lives, because the guns will jam. He discusses of the time he was shot in the head and how it effect him when he flew. But he was a brillant flyer and a wonderful solider and his men looked up to him, it is just a shame it was during World War I. I would reccomend this book to everyone who wishes to read about him.
