This is a comprehensive book on the incomparable Martin Margiela and his Maison of collaborators. His inventive take on fashion is more like that of an artist than a merchant. Created with the same artistic vision as Margiela items, this book spurs on creative ideas for the viewer with the maison's greatest hits and varied influences. Though I wished there would be more clear documentation of his designs... this is still an amazing book. A better book for Margiela fans would be the Japanese paperback that was out in Nov 1999 Maison Martin Margiela: Street Special Edition, Vols. 1 & 2 (in one book). Both highly recommended.
