I think that anyone who loves cooking and travel would greatly enjoy LUNCH WITH ELIZABETH DAVID, by Roger Williams.
It is candidly written with enough real life information about the characters to be both wickedly entertaining and revealing.
It is about personalities, proclivities, passion for food and the loyalty of friendships.
The portions which deal with travel to Italy and specificially Naples and Capri are a pure delight. Both "real life" comments and also the romantic notions we might have about both places. It is a beautiful journey to savor and I recommend it highly.
