Lucky Man is a poignant and enjoyable read as we follow Michael through his life and loves; as the boy becomes a man and deals with a disease that caught him totally off guard. It's also the story of the woman he loves and how she stands beside and supports him throughout each phase of his life. Michael does humor better than a lot of others do, and he does serious very well also. In a day when so many people bemoan their lives and the things they have to put up with, it is quite refreshing to hear Michael deal with his affliction in a positive and even humorous tone. Hearing him say it is just something he has to deal with, and to say that it has made him appreciate life more and the things that he has, is an inspiration to all who hear it. Thanks go to Michael for laying his life open for the readers to share in and to learn from. Definitely a must for anyone to read!!
