The first major book on the inovative eccentric personal artist and his many interesting works from the early 1960's to the mid 1970's. Illustrated with 265 illustrations including several tipped in plates and 75 full color repros. Light wear to the spine of the dustjacket, and the fold-out tipped in the book has light wear, and creasing. Very minute soiling to the white back panel of the dustjacket, and minor mends to the back gutter of the book. There is also very faint bumping to the top corner of the front endsheet which is lightly mirrored to some pages. All in all a very good copy of one of the cumberson but excellent Abrams monographs that were published in the early to mid seventies that are rarely seen nowadays especially in fine condition.
