This journey is an insightful wonder of the agony, confusion and conflict that is experienced at the hands and mind of a man that was supposed to love her. A true promise cannot be made when the very foundation and the definition of love is not only in question but truly unknown. This peek into a life answers some questions as to why the abused stay, why leaving safely is the epicenter of moving on; as well as community silence, refusal to offer support and resources only further embeds victims in the tragedy of domestic violence.
