This is the 1887 printing, brown cloth hardcover with gold lettering and elaborate black design on spine and front cover, all page edges are gilded, published by Fairbanks & Palmer in 1885, 678pp. Slightest wear on tips of outer corners, minor loss of color due to rubbing on lower edges of cover, top and bottom of spine; binding square and tight; very small rough patch on front free endpaper as if small sticker was removed, rear free endpaper has very small dark spot; pages a little tanned due to age.
