Although the songs are from Brubeck's usual repertoire of the era, the solos are much different and the group sounds consistently inspired. Highlights of the cool jazz collection include "Stardust," "Stompin' for Willie," "The Song Is You," "In Your Own Sweet Way" and "The Duke."
