I divided the book into very detailed sections. Example: Volume 4 covers the development of air to ground to support - the attack aircraft and dive bomber. I used the Spanish Civil War their being and accented their development in Burma. Some of the planes discussed include the A-24, -25, -27, -31/-35, and -35. Also talk about Howard Hughes' attempts to become a supplier of military aircraft - the A-37. The technology section discusses the development of aviation fuels and my home front section focuses on "their music. I commissioned several artists to create original illustrations and obtained permission of professional artist to use some of their work. I also used many images from government achieves. I researched my personal library, the internet, and the huge USMC Grey Research Center at Quantico, VA. I also consulted with subject matter experts in other nations, example Sweden and Germany. It is historical accurate, interesting and informative. I created the Little Friends series in part as a labor of love. My father, all eleven uncles, and a few first cousins were WWII veterans. I grew up listening to their experiences. As I said in the book, I certainly hope I've paid them proper homage.
