The epoch of the Tan(g)ka revolution has begun. Dr. Lester Linsangan ignites it through this book. From Metaphorphosis (where he was included as one of the guest poets) to Litera. I knew him through his mentor, Ayo Gutierrez whom I collaborated already with many books. The first author de facto, aside from me and my co-authors in Metaphorphosis, to revolutionize Tan(g)ka is Dr. Linsangan, who had a daily routine of writing the 1-2-3-4-5 (vice-versa) word pattern that resulted from this amazing and aesthetic work to be born. Litera, as the title of this book per se, literally means an acquaintance with letters. It is the origin of the word "literature". Letters figuratively signify literature or a pars pro toto of it. This book is a magnum opus of a didactic poet who displays his mastery in a new poetic form of Tan(g)ka and conveys blatant didacticism, which is evident in his poem: Thoth Trounced nemesis Defeated vast lexicon With boldness, not overbearance Deity of new chapters revealed Nike celebrated his giant victory Achilles' heel was cured Omnibus of letters Were collected Valued Gelos Divine personification Entered our night With Euphrosyne of good cheer Our laughs opened celestial kingdom; I may extol the writing of Dr. Linsangan as witty, hifalutin, and exuberant. His use of belligerence in words signifies that he has visceral and ample know-how of language and poetic wisdom. He uses utile et dulce conveyance with his efflorescence of terms, finger-licking good as if it serves as food for thought to feed a hungry soul. I am out of words to describe his virtuoso in writing as stated in his verses: Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis Lung disease But more dangerous Is the false prognosticator Bluster of blatant lie, fabrication Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia I can't Speak lengthy explanation They're scared to death Nightmare of uncontrollable, apprehensive utterance Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious I have Nothing to say Just want to leave Veracity of silence and quietude; In toto, the purpose of this book is to inculcate to the readers the didactic wisdom of the author that gives an indelible imprint to the senses and serves as a panacea for the desperate heart and afflicted feeling as if it has an ad rem effect. Dr. Linsangan's quill has the power to awaken the heart and soul. That is the power of the pen - to awaken, heal, inspire, and to change. This oeuvre is a must-read to be the avenue of metamorphosis for the disconsolate ones that there is always a blissful new morn ahead of them. Indeed, a man of letters, Dr. Linsangan will present everyone a delectable read to give savor unto the taste to nourish one's soul. Wrapping-up, I was able to pen this 1-2-3-4-5 verse to the poet who continuously revolutionizes tan(g)ka to the world: Litera So sweet Are the words From man of letters Oeuvre of Dr. Lester Linsangan - Danny Gallardo, Inventor and Father of Tan(g)ka Poetry
