...In the fact that it does offer some explanations to some of the practices and beliefs of this growing body within the church today. Yet, at the same time, it muddles the water even more. I thoroughly enjoyed Mark Driscoll's section despite the controversy surrounding him and the Emerging Church movement. I have never seen anyone use so much scripture in their defense of what they believed and that was a breath of fresh air in an age of man-driven pop-theology.
Some may enjoy the book to give them a primer into the beliefs of the ECM, but for others who are aware of the controversies will find it a ho-hum book with nothing more to offer.
