Two volume set. Attractively rebound in tan cloth with black boxes and gilt lettering on spines. From the library of Arthur Lee Stuart and Cornelia Lee Stuart, both descendants of Arthur Lee. Arthur Lee Stuart was a Captain in the 13th Louisiana Infantry in the Civil War. Bindings are very clean. Pages foxed. There is an inscription in each volume to Cornelia Lee Stuart from her brother (George Turberville). Also an inscription to Arthur Lee Stuart in each volume from his mother (Cornelia Lee Stuart), with a note stating "The Life of his Uncle". There is a pencilled name of another previous owner on the original front flyleaf in each volume.; BIH19B.
