Also included is "Head the Ball," a decent techno number that worked well in club settings. The best thing about Lies is an inspired live version of Cream's 1960s classic "Strange Brew," which proves surprisingly appropriate for EMF's brash, punky style. In fact, "Strange Brew" is stronger than most of the material on Schubert Dip. But even so, Lies isn't a release that casual listeners should go out of their way to obtain. ~ Alex Henderson, Rovi
