You ought to be able to point out numbers of texts that support this view, but to expect others to be convinced we must not, for the view depends on the standpoint from which it is seen; if two persons regard a landscape from different points, they will not see alike, one will see this, and the other will see this and perhaps more. If you quietly judge with charity those who do not agree with us, you will see that they more or less care for the world's opinion of them (whether the religious or worldly world, makes no difference). To the degree that we disregard the world, so we shall know truth.
