Very Good, Issued w/o DJ. 8vo, 330 pp., VG minus, light rubbing and light bumping, 3/4 leather, marbled boards and endpapers. Scattered foxing. Flint travelled from Scotland to New York City, then went to Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and points west, including a trip down the Ohio in 1818. He visited Kentucky, and stayed in Jeffersonville, Indiana for some eighteen months. He described small town life, the economy and details on agriculture, a very nice copy. TEG, untrimmed, lightly soiled on rough edges.
