The late, great Richard Mitchell defends coherent prose via ridicule of the best paid educationists and other bureaucrats. Like the little Dutch boy with his finger in the di... ( uh, levee), Mitchell stands against the tide, reminding us that syntax, diction, and grammar are vital for logical thought and therefore democracy. His effort seems hopeless as all such are now in radical decline. But this is a fun, dark humorous read.
