Auch Hans Welzel (1904-1977) entwickelte seine finale Verbrechenslehre von philosophischen Uberlegungen her. Gegen Naturalismus und Neukantianismus berief er sich auf die Philosophische Anthropologie und die Ontologie Nicolai Hartmanns, aber auch auf neuhegelianische Gedankengange.Der wissenschaftliche Durchbruch gelang Welzel in den 50er Jahren. Auch auf die Rechtsprechung des BGH ubte er betrachtlichen Einfluss aus. Markante Spuren hinterliess seine Lehre ferner in vielen Landern Sudeuropas, Ostasiens und Sudamerikas.
