EXCITING FOOD FROM THE 19TH CENTURY
I beleive this little book was a spin off or related to "A Castle in Tuscany "by the same author. After reading A Castle and reviewing Janet's life in Italy and her gardening I felt I wanted more about the ways of this lady. Many of the vegetables they ate and used in this period are far more readily available today and her recipes and combinations delight my family everytime I use this guide. Since reading A Castle in Tuscany I have so enjoyed the book that I have given copies to a number of friends. Interesting book, great recipes, simple to use and guest factor 10 out of 10 when they are served veges from this book. Love it!
